Inter-braided packing constructed from a fusion of FLUORO:GRAF® 2.5+ fibers based on PTFE and encapsulated amorphous graphite, and ARA:MAX® GOLD fibers based on aramid, offering substantial improvements over common fibers on the market.
ARA:MAX® BLACK packing is resistant to most chemicals within the pH range of 2-12 (with the exception of molten alkali metals and elemental fluorine).
It withstands temperatures from -210°C to +288°C. It can also operate in high-speed applications up to 20 m/s thanks to self-lubricating, high-temperature mineral additives that aid in heat dissipation.
ARA:MAX® BLACK packing is a universal packing suitable for all types of industrial equipment, both dynamic and static.
